According to a study conducted in January 2022, Kolkata has more than 10 million registered vehicles, which is the highest among all metropolitan cities. With such huge vehicular movement, most of the time roads of Kolkata seem to be congested. Also, people find it extremely difficult to park their vehicles at parking facilities due to unorganized vehicle parking, limited available parking slots, and poor parking management systems.
